Visalia and all South Valley donors are encouraged to donate blood with each pint donated representing a $50 donation given to the Valley Children’s Guild Center for Community Health. As the blood supply remains critically low across the nation, the Central California Blood Center and the Visalia County Center Rotary are partnering to raise awareness, blood donations and funds! With each pint of blood given during the week of March 8th through March 13th, the Visalia County Center Rotary will be donating $50 (per pint donated) by anyone representing their club, to the Valley Children's Guilds Center for Community Health. “As we continue to battle pandemic related challenges such as school closures and blood drive cancellations, the support of our community partners is critical” says Ersilia Lacaze, Director of Marketing for the Central California Blood Center. Merritt Wiseman of the La Madrinas Guild adds that “collaborative efforts by local non-profits are key to maximizing our reach and impact in our communities. This team effort is helping our community through life-saving blood, creating a wonderful non-profit partnership, and supporting Valley Children’s through the Guilds Center for Community Health.
