Gearing up for some great local events to help children & helping families become homeowners

    Listen to the interview here

First part of our interview is with Eric Johnson of CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates)

CASA of Tulare County speaks up for the innocent children who are victims of abuse and neglect—advocating for their safety and well-being by training community volunteers to represent their best interests and be their voice in court. They are in need of more gentlemen to mentor and speak for these children If you're interested, contact CASA at 559) 625-4007 https://www.casatulareco.org/

    Habitat For Humanity Tulare/Kings County

Deanna Saldana and I chatted it up about the Bird House Auction which is happening on Friday, April 3rd. They will be “going down the rabbit hole” at the Wyndham Hotel to celebrate 15 years of fundraising with one of the most fun and unique events in the Central Valley. The event has raised more than half a million dollars to support decent and affordable housing in Tulare and Kings Counties.

Habitat for Humanity builds strength, stability and self-reliance by working with families to build or improve a place that they can call home. With the help of many, Habitat has given a hand up to more than 400 local families.  Habitat supports low-income families as they build assets, reduce dependence on other forms of social assistance and break the cycle of poverty.

They are looking for creative people to build a birdhouse or doghouse for this unique event. Please contact Deanna at info@hfhtkc.org or call 559-734-4040 ext 106
