As you may have heard on Friday. It is back by popular demand. Track Chad is back and is ready to go. The goal is to lose 25 more pounds and make it an even 100 pounds loss in one year. I now have a scale I can trust and will be using for the rest of the year and that will be the one to tell me my results each week. So every Friday I will be on The Morning Wake Up Call with Dave and DC at 8:30 and will be giving you the updates once again. I am on the In Shape City tour 09. I am now splitting up my workouts at each of the Tulare county gyms. I go to the ones in Visalia, Hanford, Porterville and don’t forget about my trip to the one in Santa Maria a few months ago. Each are the same but different in their own way. But the staff and the trainers are awesome. Nice and friendly. This week my workouts will be cardio and weightlifting and toning the legs and lower body. Also add in some crunches and pushups on the list as well. Plus on the hot days like this I love to hit the hot tub, sauna and the pool. I will have a weigh in on Thursday then on Friday will be the update. I’ll be back on here tomorrow.

It has been a few weeks since I have been on here. So lets bring you up to speed on what’s going on. The last time I weighed in with Marcel at In Shape City in Hanford I weighed in at 273. That is a total loss of 73 pounds. Now for the last few weeks I have been doing things on my own. Still watching what I am eating and hitting the gym regularly. I am getting ready to head to the gym after I get off of here. I am now splitting my workouts at the In Shape City locations in Visalia and the one in Porterville. My calorie intake is still at 1,500 a day and burning off 700. I raised it another 100 calories to burn off. I am still doing my toning as well. It is going great. I am taking Dave’s challenge of 100 pounds loss all the way. My mind is set on that goal and I am going to do my best to get there. Well… it is gym time. Ill will be back on tomorrow and get back to keeping up the blog. I will talk to you tomorrow. It has been a great week. Yesterday I had the privilege to have an interview with Visalia Times Delta. It was in the paper and on their website www.visaliatimesdelta.com . That was cool to do and I want to thank them for choosing me to do that. Also I had a weigh in this week. According to Marcel’s scale and it said I am at 73 pounds. The last time that I used his scale was on June 9th 2009. At that time I was at 278 pounds. So from that time to Thursday when I met up with him I lost a total of 5 pounds. I will have one more weigh in and workout at In Shape City in Hanford and with Marcel next week. Also that means one more Track Chad update next week as well. So I met up with Marcel on Thursday at In Shape City in Hanford. I had a great work out. I started out with doing a 15 cardio warm up on the tread mill. Then came the fun. We went to the training room. He brought back the cross training course. We set up the rope ladder, step stool, dumb bells, med ball and a work out mat. So the course started out with the work out mat. I had to a new kind of pushups. Marcel called them mountain climbers. You get into the push up position and one by one (arm by arm) you drop your four arm to the ground (ex: left down, right down) then back up on by one. I did that 10 times. Then I went to the rope ladder. Get into the pushup position and box by box you walk down the ladder using your hands and feet. After that I went to the dumb bells. They were ten pound weights. Put your hands to your side and then lift you arms up and then back down (arms went out words and up) and did that 15 times. Then I went to the med ball. Hold it at your chest then lift it above your head. I did that 15 times. Then I went to the step stool. Put one foot on the stool and lift the other leg off the ground and lift your knee as high as you can get (at the same time have your hands in front of you and when your knee comes up have your arms go down toward your side and then back) I did that 10 times per leg. After all those were done. That was one set. I did 3 sets. Then we proceeded to the weight room where I did chest presses. We had 25 pound weights on each side so 50 pounds all together. I did 5 sets of 8. Then went to the basketball court (I did not know they had one there) and did lunges from one wall to the other and back. That was one fun hour of working out. Well… I am going to head out for now. I will be out at the Kings Fair this weekend and around town. So if you see me make sure to stop and say hi.
