We're hearing that Kennedy, 49, walked into the path of the bus in the northbound lane of US 41 North, we're also hearing that he was previously arrested on Oct. 8 for walking down the center lane of the same highway. A press release from the Vincennes Police Department shows that Kennedy "was found walking on the center line on U.S. Hwy 41 N. walking south, causing vehicles to have to brake on the highway." He was arrested for obstructing traffic, and held in the Knox County Jail on $3000 bond. He was also arrested on Oct. 22 for stealing a bicycle. He was charged with theft, a class D felony, and held in the Knox County Jail on $6500 bond. Jason was on the bus at the time of the crash, sent his condolences to Kennedy’s family. He said, "With a heavy heart, I’m sad to say that a man passed away last night after stepping out in front of my bus in Indiana," he said. "In all the years I’ve been touring and all the miles we’ve driven, nothing prepares you for something like this to happen. I’m praying for Albert Kennedy’s family and friends today and ask that you do the same." The investigation into the accident continues. We'll have more information when it becomes available.
