"You're Gonna Miss Me When I'm Gone" was released in June 1995 as the fourth single from their third studio album, Waitin' on Sundown. The song reached the top of the Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks chart. Out of Brooks & Dunn's twenty Billboard Number One hits, this is the only one to feature Kix Brooks on lead vocals. All others featured Ronnie Dunn.
